We are on 9.5 private acres adjoining National forest service lands. Access for snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, 4-wheeling, hiking, mountain biking out our back gate. Our gazebo overlooking the pond is an ideal place for weddings or a place to just kick back and relax.
Our conference center, with occupancy of 30-40, is a great place for retreats, meetings, weddings, receptions, family reunions, or workshops. We are located at the bottom of the little ski hill and we are one mile from the Brundage Mountain Ski Resort turn off and one mile from Bear Basin Cross Country Skiing. We are 3 miles from McCall where you can enjoy fine dining, shopping, ice skating, or boating on PayetteLake.
We welcome you to a vacation rental in downtown historic Wallace that is ideal for family vacations or large groups. This beautiful old home was built in the 1920's and features hardwood floors, tall ceilings, wood trim, and knotty pine walls. It feels like a welcoming lodge with many beds to accommodate 12 to 18 guests. This rental has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, washer & dryer, full kitchen, bed and bath linens provided, and bikes in the basement. A short walk to the coffee shops, restaurants, bars, grocery store, museums, antique stores, etc.
Wallace is the heart of outdoor activities throughout the entire year. Whether you plan to bike, ATV, fish, or ski you will have a warm welcome in this community of 960 residents.
Wallace is 20 miles away from the St.JoeRiver which has some of the best fishing in Idaho. The St.JoeRiver offers west slope cutthroats, bull trout, and mountain whitefish. Also, there are dozens of alpine lakes within miles of Wallace.
A multi-sport training mecca: four different paved directions right out the door (no traffic), Trail of the Coeur d' Alenes stretches 65 miles west and 8 miles east, unforgettable switchbacks of Dobson and Thompson Passes to the north, Moon Pass to Avery and the Hiawatha Trail to the south, a maze of dirt road climbs, cut-offs, and loops make it a cross bike heaven, canyon walls lined with forest roads for mountain bikes and running, three blocks to outdoor pool with daily lap swim for $0.50, and short drive to Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass ski areas for summer/winter fun.
