Since 1944, Bud N’ Mary’s has been THE place to fish in Islamorada, the Sport Fishing Capital of the World. A combination of location (where the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Bay and the Everglades converge), history (saltwater fishing on the fly was first developed here by famous guides such as Jimmy Albright and Cecil Keith) and celebrity (presidents, movie stars, sports stars and dozens of outdoors TV and print journalists) add to the marina’s appeal.
Ultimately, Bud N’ Mary’s is a favorite destination of anglers around the world because our seasoned offshore captains and backcountry guides put fisherman on fish. Nowhere else on earth offers more species of saltwater fish. Tarpon, sailfish, permit, grouper, yellowtail snapper or yellowfin tuna…take your pick. Stay with us and step back in time – our cozy, clean motel and charming houseboat accommodations provide a great waterfront view and the same sunset Keys visitors have loved for decades.
