The High Country is famous for its trout waters. On any given day, a mixed bag of rainbow, brown, or brook
trout can be caught. If you are an avid fisherman, putting the experience of the surrounding beauty of the
mountains and the thrill of a trout rising to the top is very hard to put into words.
Our Bed and Breakfast overlooks the Watauga River, which is one of the premier trout rivers in the Blue
Ridge Mountains. There are three fishing guide services less than ten minutes from the lodge!
