Why did we create this site?
Sometimes, when you’re searching the internet for an item you want to find, you have to sift through all the clutter. By
“clutter,” we mean “busy” web pages with too much information, such as, advertisements and columns full of articles.
Often, it’s too much to digest!
FlyFishandSleep.com is clean, structured, and very easy to use. Most information will be found in three easily-navigated
“clicks.”
And, I often receive inquiries through our main site, creeknuts.com, about fly shops and lodging in different areas
throughout the country.
How will your clients find you?
First, a lot of clients will be redirected from our main site, www.creeknuts.com, where there is a direct link to
FlyFishandSleep.com. This link is placed on the home page of this site – and it says “Find a place to stay on your next fly-
fishing trip! FlyFishandSleep.com.” Clients “click” on the link and are immediately directed to FlyFishandSleep.com.
Creeknuts.com is our main page, where we offer handmade portable fly-tying tables, lanyards, and fly-fishing/trout
bumper stickers. We average 600 new visitors each month, so we get quite a bit of traffic. Visitors average over ten
minutes of viewing time, when they visit us, so these are definitely quality fly-fishing visitors.
We advertise for creeknuts.com periodically in FlyRod&Reel, Eastern/Western/Southwestern Fly Fishing, Kype, and Fly
Tyer magazines. In addition, we are linked to several fly-fishing forum sites: All Fishing Info, The Fly Fishing Loop, Top
100 Fly Fishing Sites, All About Fishing, and Top Fishing Sites. So, we are continually looking for new avenues to bring
new visitors!
Recently, our www.flyfishandsleep.com link was been added to the main page of www.usaonthefly.com! This is one of
the most popular fly fishing sites in the country, and we received over 100 new visitors the first day this link was posted!
Our sites are distributed to over 50 search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN search. And, we have many
visitors each month who have been linked from our eBay store, which offers unlimited prospecting potential.
We also have Twitter and Facebook accounts! Whenever a new property is added to FlyFishandSleep.com, we post an
announcement, which is searchable through Google and other search engines! In addition we have begun a reciprocal
advertising program with several Fly Shops – we list the fly shop in FindFlyShops.com, and in return, they post a link to

What will my listing look like?
We are currently adding listings to many of our pages. You can see how listings look on the site by going to www.
flyfishandsleep.com, then “click” on “Arkansas” or “Colorado” - these are two of our first two state sites, and they have
several listings.
