In far northern California, near the Pit River and McCloud River, 60 miles NE of Redding on 160 acres of
secluded forest and meadows, with private lake, creek and springs at 2500’ elevation:
Affordable modern, comfortable guesthouse with kitchen, sleeps 5; two additional rooms in log house
lodge, sleep 5; meals available; splash pool for relaxing after that adventurous day on the river. Quiet,
peaceful seclusion, like a step back in time, we only accommodate one party at a time. For larger groups,
we offer group camping, with or without use of the guesthouse.
Only 5 miles to the forest-lined, rock-strewn Pit River and Iron Canyon lake, 14 miles thru forest to the lovely
McCloud River, and an easy, scenic drive to other blue-ribbon trout fisheries. We’ll give you maps to the hot
springs (free, 2 miles away) and some awesome nearby swimming holes for the fish and you.
